Collaborative works with alternative materials and life forms
DISEMBODIED EXISTENCE
Disembodied Existence is an experiment and installation set up for two weeks in the woods of Stadt Wehlen, Germany.
The agar biomaterial skin was left to decompose and transmute in the woods. A wildlife camera was also left to record the breaking down process and relationships with the other life forms inhabiting the woods.
This created along with non human agents / losing and transferring control into other life forms / recorded the breaking down process / Xperiment developed during @outsidein_insideout_ residency

Project implementation:
To what extent are you conscious of the constant decomposition of your body; of how your skin, teeth and nails lose the color of youth, how your hair loses its softness and how your body starts to feel heavier every day?
THE SKIN I INHABIT IS NOT MINE
Is a follow up installation of "Disembodied Existence". Its conformed by an artist book which lays on a LED panel lined with biomaterials, surrounded by lamps and sculptures made from bacteria and resin. Everything is on the floor which is covered by moss.
This work was created along with bacteria which act as agents that embody the passing of time. But these decaying vessels are 'frozen' in resin, to try and stop the passing of time. The artist book shows the process, struggles and intimate thoughts of a mind which vessel is no more than a decaying body.
